SsangYong Motor (CEO and President Hyung-Tak Choi;www.smotor.com) examined the works that were submitted for the ¨Decal Design Competition〃 held for the 2009 ¨it Style Actyon.〃 The works were submitted through the company…s website (www.smotorsuv.com) from Wednesday, August 13 to Tuesday, September 30. As a result of screening the works, 15 works that effectively emphasize the unique characteristics of the ¨it Style Actyon〃 were chosen as the final winners. The company announced on October 15 that it held a ceremony to present prize money and medals to the winners.
Among the countless works that were submitted, SsangYong Motor first chose around 500 outstanding works, after which SsangYong Motor…s Design Center selected 15 works. The ranking among the works was determined by combining the results of a vote among internet users with the results of evaluation by the Design Center. The first prize (Actyon Prize) went to Ik-Seung Choi, a student of the Department of Industrial Design of Konkuk University. Choi was presented with prize money of 3 million won and a trophy. The second-prize (it Style Prize) winner received prize money of 2 million won and a trophy; three third-prize (Club Prize) winners received prize money of 1 million won, each; and the ten other winners were given prize money of 200 thousand won, each, and a medal.

More than 40 thousand people visited the Actyon Decal Design Competition website.
