Korando's Central Europe launching event took place at Queen Elizabeth Hall in Antwerpen, Belgium from 28th to 29th of March. Along with SsangYong's Executive Director, Daniel H. Rim, 500 of SsangYong's distributors and representatives from Central Europe such as Benelux countries, Germany, and Switzerland attended the event.

Participants explored the interior and exterior of Korando displayed at the venue and complimented its charming and stylish design, and its luxurious interiors, high level of comfort, ample space including 2-row seat leg rooms. They were highly satisfied with Korando's competitiveness and were enthused about pushing its sales.

Also, 100 of local distributors and representatives attended Korando's UK launching event on the 2nd of April in Birmingham, northwest of London, UK.

Participants said, "Along with Tivoli and Musso Grand, Korando is still a popular model in Britain." As the new Korando is upgraded in all aspects including design, interior and performance, we are expecting it to be well received in the market. "

The new Korando, which was first introduced to the global market at 2019 Geneva Motor Show since its domestic debut made at the end of February, is equipped with cutting-edge technology such as high-efficiency gasoline engines and enhanced safety and 2.5-level autonomous driving technology. SsangYong plans to expand its global sales to Central and South America, the Middle East, and Oceania.

SsangYong Motor CEO Byung-tae Yea announced, "The next generation global strategic model, Korando received positive reaction in European launching events", and "We will continue with oversea regional launch starting with the European market. At the same time, we will pursue aggressive regional marketing and focus on diverse activities that will enhance brand recognition, ultimately promoting global sales."
