Ssangyong Motor held a Global Press Presentation & Drive Event of its compact SUV Tivoli in a city of Tivoli, Italy on May 27th.
About 140 people including 100 automotive journalists and 40 distributors across the world attended and participated in the test-drive event.
SYMC said that it is very meaningful for the company to proceed with the global test-drive program of the Tivoli in the old-world resort city Tivoli in Italy where the vehicle was named after.
The journalists said that the Tivoli has a European stylish design and superior product competiveness so it can make a sensation in the compact SUV market in Europe. Further, the vehicle is expected to play a major role in gain SYMC brand recognition with its high product quality.
Recently, SYMC unveiled the Tivoli at Istanbul International Auto Show in Turkey and plans to increase its sales goal of this year based on the successfully global launch of the Tivoli.
Ssangyong has shipped about 5,000 units of the Tivoli to the overseas market from March and starts sales of the Tivoli in earnest through its 1,300 sales network all over the world from June.
