▪ About 100 distributors from 50 countries attended the conference – the biggest ever
  - for three days from May 22

Ssangyong Motor(President & CEO Lee Yoo-il; www.smotor.com), part of the USD14.4 billion Mahindra Group,  recently
held its annual Global Distributor Conference in Busan from May 22 to 24 with about 100 foreign dealers from 50 countries
in attendance. This year’s conference is the largest ever, even exceeding last year’s event with participants from 47 countries.

Lee Yoo-il, CEO of Ssangyong Motor, said “Since its M&A with Mahindra, Ssangyong Motor has been taking active
steps to become a global SUV manufacturer,” adding “We will secure stable demand in the global market by
diversifying our product portfolio, including small-sized SUVs and at the same time further strengthen our product
competitiveness by fulfilling customer requirements.”

This year’s conference focused on sharing business vision and achieving business objectives, with the company and
its distributors discussing ways and strategic directions to expand exports and encourage cooperation.

In particular, the distributors showed great interest in the significantly improved competitiveness of Ssangyong vehicles
in the global market after the Rexton W test-drive, the third-generation Rexton leading the domestic SUV market.
Ssangyong Motor will export the Rexton W to Europe and other major global markets starting in the second half of
this year.

The event started with a tour of the engine plant in Changwon and the Rexton W test-drive on May 22.
The distributors also attended a conference and an awards ceremony to celebrate excellence amongst distributors
on May 23, before joining the Busan International Motor Show the following day. Ssangyong’s Russian distributor
received the Best Distributor of the Year Award for the second straight year. Outstanding distributors from Chile,
Belgium, Colombia, Italy, Ukraine and China were also recognized for their efforts.
