Ssangyong announces its new HQ Showroom in Peru.


▪ New HQ Showroom paves the road to more aggressive sales and marketing activities in Peru.
▪ Ssangyong launches the Korando gasoline version and the New Actyon Sports, the strategic
  models for the Peruvian market, to increase the market share.

Altos Andes S.A., Ssangyong’s distributor in Peru, announced opening of new HQ Showroom in Lima, Peru on 24th of April while the journalists from broadcasts, major newspapers and magazines attended. This new facility features a showroom, workshop and a large warehouse which require an investment of US$ 5million.

During its opening ceremony, Altos Andes S.A. has announced official launch of the Korando gasoline version and the New Actyon Sports, which will be the major volume players in Peruvian market, in its 4,500 square-meter new HQ Showroom.

In addition, Altos Andes S.A. plans to increase 60% of the sales volume in Peruvian market compare to the last year. Ssangyong Motor considers Peru an important stepping stone to expand sales throughout South America and will continue to focus on increasing sales.

Currently, there are 18 distributors (special agents who hold sole selling rights) in 18 Latin American countries. The company plans to expand its sales network up to 22 countries.
