SsangYong Motor (CEO and President Hyung-Tak Choi;www.smotor.com) held the 38th “Hospital Concert of Love” at Ajou University Hospital (in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province) on October 22, and gave hope and courage to the hospitalized patients and their families.

The concert is an event that SsangYong Motor has been sponsoring every year since 2003, as part of a social contribution program carried out to fulfill the company’s social responsibilities. Unique performances are given every month by a yodel group and a performance group consisting of children at general hospitals with more than 500 sickbeds located in Seoul and the metropolitan area. These performances are receiving accolades from the audience.

In particular, Hyeong-Don Kim, who is a member of a band consisting of working people, played the saxophone and gained much praise from the patients and hospital staff. The Blue Echo Choir, consisting of children, gave yodel and cowbell performances, and volunteers spent a time of recreation and fun with the patients in-between the performances. The wide array of programs filled the hospital with a bright and lively atmosphere.
